The Agriturismo Montagna Verde is located in the municipality of Licciana Nardi,in the ancient village of Apella, in the upper Lunigiana at the foot of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
The rooms are available within the structure and in the nearby village, in apartments located in the two complexes of Borgo Antico and Castagneto di Apella, created in old manor houses, abandoned and then recovered according to the model of widespread hospitality.Each apartment will provide you with a patio and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher. Featuring a shower, the private bathroom also comes with free toiletries and a hairdryer.
The cuisine of structure is strongly linked to the territory and local products, and is underpinned by the great passion of the oweners for traditional local recipes and the rediscovery of ancient, authentic flavours of the past.
The farm is certified organic and covers more than 600 hectares including grasslands and forests. It is the main source of the products with which the dishes of the farm are create. The result is local production of food while maintaining an agricultural and pastoral landscape, at the same time benefiting from the traditional gastronomy of the Apennine mountains and Lunigiana.
The farm offer an ideal place for those who want a peaceful holiday in contact with the natural environment, history and good food. We enjoy an enviable position: a few kilometres away from the “Parco dei Cento Laghi” (Park of the Hundred Lakes), the fabulous coast of the Cinque Terre and the Gulf of Poets, and the white beaches of Versilia. We are also less than an hour’s drive from Lucca, Pisa, Genova and Parma.
